Small-batch sauces made by hand from regeneratively grown Minnesota peppers. No chemicals or weird stuff, ever.
I've been making sauces to complement family meals since the 1980s. Having had the privilege to taste great food in over 30 countries — from the North of Ireland to the Northland of Minnesota — there's no greater pleasure than sharing some of that with friends old and new.
We grow our own peppers and source the rest from local farmers we know by name, using organic and regenerative practices.
Every sauce is fermented and simmered in small batches in our home kitchen on Stillwater's South Hill. It takes time to get it right.
Sauce North gives at least 1% of sales to support regenerative agriculture and food-system projects. People and ingredients matter.
Our sauces start in the field. We use our own homegrown #seedtosauce peppers alongside crops grown specifically for us by friends who stay close to their soil — vine-ripened, hand-picked, and fermented while fresh.
The result is flavor with a story: bright, layered, and balanced, with just the heat each sauce needs and nothing it doesn't.

Sauce North is running quietly these days, but we still love to hear from returning customers and pepper enthusiasts. Reach out and we'll let you know what's available.
